Animal Exhibits at the Fair

Animal Exhibit Information

We will be accepting animals for exhibit such as Dairy/Beef Cattle, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, poultry, rabbits, ducks. Each animal will require some health certificates/ checks depending on the kind.

  •  ALL Livestock (excluding poultry/fowl) must have Permanent Identification i.e an ear tag, a tattoo, registration papers or an 840 microchip. If your Livestock does NOT have permanent identification they will not be allowed on the fairgrounds. If you have 840 microchips, the fair vet will place them free of charge at check in if needed 

 Cattle

  • All cattle must appear to be free of contagious and infectious diseases confirmed by an accredited veterinarian. 
  • All animals must be tattooed or tagged to match registration papers. 
  • Body condition scores will be determined by the vet; and they will have the final word. 
  • All out-of-state cattle must be accompanied by a health certificate dated no more than 30 days prior to the fair.
  • NO BULLS

Sheep

 

  • All sheep must appear to be free of contagious and infectious diseases confirmed by an accredited veterinarian.
  • All sheep must be shorn or have well kept wool.
  • All animals must be tattooed or tagged to match registration papers. All out of state animals must be tattooed or tagged to match health papers.
  • NO RAMS

Goats

 

  • All goats must appear to be free of contagious and infectious diseases confirmed by an accredited veterinarian. All out of state animals must be tattooed or tagged to match health papers.
  • NO BUCKS/BILLYS

Horses

 

  • All horses must appear to be free of contagious and infectious diseases confirmed by an accredited veterinarian. 
  • No equine is permitted on the grounds unless it has a negative Coggins test accomplished within 12 months of the date of the exhibition.
  • NO STALLIONS


Poultry

 

  • Poultry have a strict cut off of 12pm- if your bird does not have their blood drawn by the USDA employee they will NOT be allowed on the fairgrounds. 


 PLEASE Have all check-in forms filled out and paperwork (If applicable; Breed association paperwork, coggins, health certificates etc.) readily available for each animal AT TIME OF CHECK IN TUES OCT 20th at the Fairgrounds.  

Each exhibitor is allowed 3 entries. You will need to submit the registration form and return by deadline. Accepting animals until all cages are full.
